NASH introduces ATEX compliance service
The European ATEX 95/137 directives and complimentary UK DSEAR regulations were introduced in 1996 and 2002 respectively to improve the safety of mechanical equipment intended for use in explosive atmospheres.
We are pleased to announce that NASH is now able to undertake the assessment and certification of mechanical seals and rotating equipment in accordance with the ATEX 95 directive 94/9/EC. The service extends to Category 1, 2 or 3 equipment for use in Zones 0, 1 and 2.
This service is already proving invaluable for companies using high dependency mechanical seals and rotating equipment manufactured and installed before 2003-06-30, where retrospective type testing has proved to be the most convenient and cost effective solution.
