NASH seal repair service for Maersk Ship Management

Maersk Ship Management have selected NASH as appointed mechanical seal repair service supplier for all the company's Norfolk Line Ferries operating out of Birkenhead.

With 5 ships operating in the area, Maersk recognise the excessive cost of automatic replacement of critical mechanical seals and the savings that can be made by opting for professional repair and refurbishment.

Jarle Haugsdal of Maersk comments:

"As mechanical seals are very expensive to buy,
we must try to repair if possible."

The agreement resulted from a thorough audit of NASH's capabilities and performance.

Maersk are confident that the new arrangements will enable their ships to operate more efficiently with reduced maintenance costs.
