Barry’s primary role at NASH is to ensure the business delivers uncompromised integrity in mechanical seals services. Barry brings 29 years experience and is focused on providing partners with any brand mechanical seal services that exceed their expectations.
A self confessed ‘fixer’, Barry joined NASH in 1986, his initial focus being to improve the company’s business systems, financial reporting and quality control.
Assuming Managing Director status and a 50% stake in 1993, he saw the opportunities for bespoke any brand aftermarket support and led a transition to move NASH from being a local supplier to becoming a leading international mechanical seal service and repair specialist.
With experience of virtually every make and type of mechanical seal, Barry is driven by a passion to provide a truly customer focused mechanical seal service and repair support operation.

Matt’s remit at NASH is to continuously develop the technical functions & capability together with systems, processes and facility to be the best in class when it comes to mechanical seal service.
With a BEng Mechanical Engineering, Design & Manufacture degree, Matt has been active in the mechanical seal industry since 1990, cutting his teeth at Flexibox before moving to NASH in 1999.
Initially focused on strengthening the company’s capability in the oil and gas market, Matt has since introduced design management and control, part number and material code systems, 3D solid modelling, an integrated ERP system with any brand MRO capability, process and system development and developed the compressor seal market.
Together Barry and Matt foster a responsive, specialist approach at NASH with ‘any brand repair’ capability that removes customer dependency on the mechanical seal OEMs.
